Spa Prof collaborated with a countryside retreat to create Meadow Haven, a rustic sauna nestled amidst a serene meadow. Designed to reflect the natural beauty of its surroundings, this cozy structure offers a blend of traditional charm and modern functionality, creating the perfect rural escape for relaxation.

The client wanted a sauna that felt at home in the meadow, offering a warm and inviting space for guests while blending seamlessly with the landscape. Key elements of the vision included:

Design & Build Process

Spa Prof’s design team prioritized authenticity, using untreated wood for the exterior to allow the sauna to age gracefully with the environment. The pitched roof design and traditional wood joinery enhanced its rural charm.

- Wood: Locally sourced, sustainable wood for both the exterior and interior, ensuring durability and minimal environmental impact.
- Windows: Energy-efficient double-pane glass for insulation while providing clear views of the meadow.
- Decking: Weather-resistant wooden decking for the outdoor area, perfect for cooling off between sauna sessions.
Construction:
- The sauna was constructed on-site, ensuring a perfect fit with the uneven terrain of the meadow.
